Elections for governors, heads of regional parliaments, and other officials have begun in some regions of Russia. Voting started on September 12 and will end on September 14.
During the entire period, 20 heads of regions will be elected, as well as 11 deputies of legislative assemblies, heads of municipalities, and deputies of city and village councils.
In total, more than 5 thousand election campaigns will be held, in which about 55 million people will take part. In addition, about 20 million voters in 24 regions will be able to take part in remote electronic voting.
The elections will last three days in 37 regions of Russia, two days in another area, and on September 14 in the rest.
Let us recall that 659 candidates have been registered for the municipal elections in Bashkiria, which will be held on the Single Voting Day on September 14, including 622 candidates from 8 parties and 37 self-nominated candidates. This information was published in the Telegram channel of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Belarus. On this day, 150 election campaigns will take place, in which 239 deputies of district, city, and village councils are planned to be elected.
Among the political parties, United Russia has the largest representation at the nomination stage - 236 candidates, in second place is the LDPR with 229 candidates. 89 people can represent A Just Russia - Patriots - For Truth, 46 - the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. In addition, New People nominated 18 candidates, Civil Platform - 2 candidates, as well as Opora Rossii and Yabloko - one representative each.
