Prospects for regular air service between Ufa and Minsk were discussed in Ufa

Radiy Khabirov emphasized that regular air service with Belarus is of great importance for the residents of the republic.

"This is important for us, flights to Minsk are in great demand," said the head of the region.

Since 2023, the Russian airline Red Wings has been operating flights on the Ufa-Minsk route. During this time, it has performed 115 flights, transporting more than 20 thousand passengers.

"We are in close negotiations with the management team of Bashkortostan on regular service between Minsk and Ufa by Belavia Airlines," noted Igor Cherginets.

Cooperation between Bashkortostan and Belarus is developing in a wide range of areas. According to the results of 2024 and the first half of 2025, the country ranks fifth in the republic's foreign trade turnover. There are 23 enterprises with Belarusian capital operating in the region.

In addition, Bashkortostan and Belarus are implementing joint events that contribute to an increase in mutual tourist flow. The key project is "Bashkir-Belarusian Longevity. Tourism" for older residents. This program has become an incentive for the formation of demand for commercial tours.
