Prime Minister of Bashkortostan congratulated republic residents on Russian Flag Day
Andrey Nazarov recalled that the tricolor first appeared in Russia in the 17th century under Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich. In 1991, it once again shone over our country as the main symbol of freedom, hope, and unity of millions of hearts.
"Today we celebrate the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation. The three colors — white, blue, and red — are not just paints on a cloth, but a living reflection of centuries-old history, heroic victories, and unwavering faith in the future.
Each of the three colors reflects the economic upswings that led Russia to world leadership in various fields, as well as brilliant achievements in science and technology, and the military glory of our state. And the red one also reminds us of the Victory Banner that proudly fluttered over the Reichstag as a symbol of the end of the Great Patriotic War.
And today our national flag is a powerful symbol of unity, fortitude, and pride of the entire Russian people. Under it, our soldiers defend the Motherland during a special military operation, ensuring the sovereignty of Russia and the security of each of us.
Friends! I congratulate you on the Day of the National Flag of Russia! May it always fill your hearts with pride for the Motherland, inspire you to new achievements, and remind you of the great victories of our ancestors. I wish you good health, prosperity, peace, and happiness to you and your loved ones! " he addressed the residents of the republic.
