Svetlana Vereshchagina has been appointed Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of Bashkortostan. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of the region, Radiy Khabirov.
By another decree of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Zukhra Gordiyenko was relieved of her post as Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan at her request.
Svetlana Vereshchagina was born on February 10, 1982, in Kumertau. She graduated from the Ufa State Academy of Economics and Services, and the Bashkir State University.
She began her career in 2004 at Bashkir Railway Bank.
In 2005–2011, she held various positions in commercial organizations.
In 2011–2013, she was the chief specialist of the Department of Economic Development, Industry and Investments of the Birsky District Administration.
In 2013–2014 – Leading Specialist-Expert of the Department for Coordination of Trade, Consumer Cooperation and Consumer Services of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Trade and Consumer Protection.
In 2014–2016, Deputy Head of the Department for Coordination of Trade and Consumer Services of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Trade and Consumer Protection.
In 2016–2017, Deputy Head of the Control Activities Department of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Trade and Consumer Protection.
In 2017–2020 – Head of the Investment Development Department of the Investment Activities Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
In 2020–2022, Deputy Director for General and Organizational Issues of the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Bashkortostan "Molochnaya Kuhnya".
In 2022–2024, Deputy Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
In 2024–2025, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investment Activity of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
