Head of Bashkortostan holds meeting of regional emergency operations headquarters

On August 1, Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held a meeting of the regional emergency operations headquarters at the House of the Republic. Heads of ministries, agencies, and representatives of industrial enterprises attended the session.

One of the key topics discussed was the readiness of civil defense shelters, according to the press service of the Head of the Republic.

“In today’s realities, there is no need to explain that all civil defense shelters must be maintained in a condition fit for use,” emphasized Radiy Khabirov.

He added that, following the directive of President Vladimir Putin, the government of Bashkortostan has developed a plan to ensure the readiness of civil defense shelters through 2030. The participants discussed the progress of activities included in this plan.
