On June 19, as part of the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a working meeting was held between Radiy Khabirov, Head of Bashkortostan, and Alexey Russkikh, Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region.
“We interact with Bashkortostan on an ongoing basis. For example, a year ago, a business delegation from the Ulyanovsk Region visited the republic. We saw a large number of enterprises. I would like to particularly emphasize our interest in collaborative work on the production of aircraft engines. Here we have very close ties, given that Ulyanovsk is the center of aircraft manufacturing. I have just had talks with Radiy Khabirov, and I hope that they will give new impetus to our relations and strengthen the economies of both regions,” Alexey Russkikh noted.
The Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region also visited the Bashkortostan stand, which was organized at the forum. Alexey Russkikh became acquainted with the region's exposition, which features leading investment projects and initiatives in high technology, industry, and tourism.
It is worth noting that Bashkortostan and the Ulyanovsk region are developing sustainable ties in various industries. Regular exchanges of business missions, participation in joint economic forums, and specialized exhibitions contribute to the formation of a solid platform for cooperation and the implementation of mutually beneficial projects.
