Radiy Khabirov spoke about new trains from Ufa
The Head of Bashkiria noted a noticeable increase in passenger traffic on the suburban railway at an operational meeting. In January to May of this year, electric trains carried 2 million passengers, 10% more than in the five months of 2024. For the entire year, passenger traffic on suburban services totaled 5.4 million.
Radiy Khabirov recalled that an agreement had been reached with the Kuibyshev Railway to launch the Lastochka suburban train on the Ufa-Chelyabinsk route from July 1.
It is also planned to open the popular new stop "Pink Rocks" on the Ufa-Beloretsk route in September of this year, and next year to launch the long-awaited direct electric train to Magnitogorsk, as well as to Samara, the Head of Bashkiria recalled.
