

By decree of the President of Russia, Major General of Police Alexander Voronezhsky was appointed Minister of Internal Affairs for Bashkortostan. Since 2022, he has worked as the Chief of Police - Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk Region.
Alexander Voronezhsky was born on August 4, 1975, in the Alma-Ata Region of the Kazakh SSR. In 1995, he graduated from the Alma-Ata Higher Military Border Command School and served in the Kazakhstan border troops. Since 2001, he has worked within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Bashkortostan, Alexander Pryadko, resigned in March of this year.
