A delegation from Bashkortostan, headed by Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov, is currently working in Gorno-Altaisk. Representatives of the republic arrived in the capital of Altai on the first flight launched between the regions.
A meeting was held with Andrey Turchak, the head of Altai. The parties reviewed the project of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia on mentoring Bashkortostan in the field of industrial development of Altai.
Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Industry of Bashkiria, Alexander Sheldyaev, noted that in a short period, it was possible to establish productive cooperation with the Altai Industrial Development Fund, which opened up new opportunities for the development of the industrial sector. Preferential lending programs for enterprises have been developed, and active work is underway to obtain a Unified Regional Subsidy. The introduction of a special investment contract mechanism is being prepared, and the creation of industrial clusters is being discussed.
Bashkiria can help Altai build export activities. Another area is education and science. Tourism has great potential for joint work between the regions. Direct air service will facilitate the implementation of joint projects, the parties noted.
"Bashkortostan is ready to share its successful practices with colleagues from Altai. Through specific projects, it is possible to achieve real, measurable results that residents of the two republics will feel," summarized Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov.
