The Bashkiria government discussed the transition to the closed-cycle economy in the framework of the same name, Fedroekt. Daniel Sharafutdinov, the head of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Belarus, recalled that, according to the plan, 19 key performance indicators must be achieved by 2030.

Among the main areas are the construction of new processing capacities, the use of modern resource-saving methods, increasing the level of waste reuse, and increasing the number of recycling points.

In 2024, 88 enterprises were included in Russia, 4 of which were Bashkir. According to the agency, out of 63 municipalities of Bashkiria, 48 confirmed that they have recycling points. Sharafutdinov recalled that the rest need to open such points soon.

According to him, the plan is to maintain the share of buried MSW at 94.2% in the next two years.
