Belarus consulate will open in Ufa
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has agreed to establish a Belarus consulate general in Ufa. The corresponding document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
The consular district will include Bashkiria, Kalmykia, Udmurtia, Astrakhan, Orenburg, and Samara regions.
The order signed by Mikhail Mishustin recommended that the government of the Republic of Bashkortostan "allocate office and residential premises in Ufa for the consulate general of the Republic of Belarus on the terms of lease or acquisition by the Republic of Belarus into ownership, carry out, if necessary, the allocation of land plots for their construction by the legislation of the Russian Federation, and also resolve other organizational issues."
The Prime Minister instructed the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to formalize the corresponding agreement with the Belarusian side.
Today, a branch of the Belarusian embassy in Russia has been opened in Ufa. His area of responsibility includes the Bashkortostan, Orenburg, Samara, Astrakhan regions, Udmurtia, and Kalmykia regions.
