Bashkortostan deputies approved bill on support for parents with many children

Bashkortostan deputies approved a bill supporting parents with many children in the first reading. We are discussing amendments to Article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Bashkortostan "On State Support for Large Families in the Republic of Bashkortostan".

In particular, the document proposes establishing priority in hiring for parents with multiple children, including those raising minor children and those with disabilities, when implementing measures to organize temporary employment for unemployed citizens experiencing difficulties in finding work.

As the first deputy chairman of the committee on health care, social policy and veterans' affairs Shamil Timerbulatov noted at a meeting of the State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan, in connection with the annual increase in the number of disabled children in Russia, there are also more parents of such children - non-disabled adults who are limited in their ability to work full-time and are in a socially vulnerable position. Such limitations in connection with caring for a disabled child force the parent to abandon professional activity.

He added that the bill was developed to improve the social status of parents with many children, raising minor children, and disabled children.
