Medical organizations received 55 mobile X-ray machines in Bashkiria

Since the beginning of the year, 45 medical organizations of Bashkiria have received 55 mobile X-ray machines thanks to the national project "Long and Active Life". The regional Ministry of Health reported this.

The department specified that one of the key advantages of these X-ray machines is the ability to examine patients with limited mobility without having to transport them. This is especially important for people who are seriously ill or elderly and have difficulty moving. Timely diagnostics using new technology will allow identifying diseases at early stages and improve the availability of medical care for residents of the republic.

In 2025, thanks to the implementation of the regional program "Modernization of Primary Health Care in the Republic of Bashkiria," it is planned to put six clinics into operation. It is intended to purchase and install 134 modular structures, carry out major repairs on nine facilities, put six clinics into operation, and buy more than 4,500 units of equipment, as well as 99 vehicles. This year, two new modern ultrasound diagnostic devices were delivered to the Karmaskalinskaya Central District Hospital as part of the national "Long and Active Life" project.

The updated national projects are being implemented at the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin, starting from January 1, 2025. The main goal of the national project "Long and Active Life" is to achieve new longevity indicators for citizens. By 2030, it is planned to increase life expectancy to 78 years, and by 2036, to 81 years.
