Vladimir Putin awarded Service Award winner

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the winner of the Service Award in the nomination "Courage and Heroism - for the Benefit of Serving the Motherland" at the "Small Homeland - the Power of Russia" forum at the "Russia" national center. According to the organizers, the award was received by Vladimir Tarantsov, First Deputy Head of the Veydelevsky District Administration of the Belgorod Region.

The Service Award was established in 2023 by order of the head of state. It covers 10 nominations and recognizes the merits of people who are actively developing local government. This year, more than 41 thousand applications from all regions of the country were submitted.

Two projects from Bashkiria also made it into the Top 100 of the award: "SMOi Iglino" - an initiative to support the families of SMO participants; "Youth Council - a training platform for future parliamentarians" - a project from Sterlitamak aimed at developing mentoring among young people.
