New migration issues service will be created under Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs

The President of Russia signed a decree creating the Service for Citizenship and Registration of Foreign Citizens, which will be based on the Main Directorate for Migration Issues of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the new document, the government must submit proposals within three months to clarify the number of staff and coordinate presidential acts.
