Mikhail Mishustin called campuses construction as reserve for years

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking with the annual government report in the State Duma, called the construction of campuses in the regions a profound contribution to the country's scientific and technological development. He indicated campuses in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaliningrad, Chelyabinsk, and Ufa among the already completed facilities.

According to Mishustin, campuses are spaces for educational and research activities, residence, and sports activities for students and teachers.

He also noted that the campus project is being implemented according to the president's instructions. In total, 40 world-class campuses are planned to be built. In addition, the Priority 2030 program has been extended for another six years.

Mikhail Mishustin also pointed out the renewal of the material and technical base of almost 2,000 workshops in 320 secondary vocational education organizations. In total, about 7.5 thousand such workshops have been modernized in five years.

Within the framework of the federal project "Professionality," 370 clusters, with the participation of businesses, are already training students in 24 in-demand areas.

More than 700 educational and industrial complexes have been opened in 68 regions for high school students to acquire skills in working specialties.

Targeted training at the expense of the federal budget is expanding. For the 2025/2026 academic year, quotas have been increased in almost 80 areas, and some medical ones have been increased by up to 100%.
