Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade assessed Bashkiria industrial complex

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, co-chairman of the Council Ivan Kulikov gave a high assessment of the work of the industrial complex of the republic at the first meeting of the Council for the Development of Industry of Bashkortostan. In particular, he noted the region's active participation in various federal programs.

“I would like to thank Radiy Khabirov for his great attention and systematic work on industry development. Russian President Vladimir Putin set important tasks to strengthen the technological sovereignty of the country by 2030 and increase production in the manufacturing sector by 40 percent. Industrial growth must be ensured through accelerated development within the framework of national projects to ensure technological leadership,” Ivan Kulikov emphasized.

The deputy minister noted that to solve these problems at the federal level, they plan to concentrate on the current support measures implemented by the country's Ministry of Industry and Trade. These include concessional loans from the Russian Industrial Development Fund, special investment contracts, assistance in implementing cluster initiatives, and industrial infrastructure creation.

Success in implementing the task of strengthening technological sovereignty largely depends on the efforts undertaken at the regional level. Bashkortostan is an example of coordinated work in this area. It has built a system of state support measures for the industry and stable communications between government bodies and enterprises. According to the results of 2023, the republic became the leader in rating the effectiveness of industrial policy implementation. Bashkortostan actively participates in various programs of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. Over the past four years, more than 15 billion rubles have been allocated for industrial support of the region.

The Deputy Minister added that the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade approved an action plan to develop the republic's industrial potential over the next three years.
