Radiy Khabirov met with Russian Ambassador to Belarus

The press service of the Head of Bashkortostan reports that today, in Minsk, Radiy Khabirov, the Head of Bashkortostan, met with Boris Gryzlov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Belarus. They discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and integration in various areas.

Radiy Khabirov thanked Boris Gryzlov for his significant contribution to cooperation between Bashkortostan and Belarus. He emphasized that the parties have been successfully expanding collaboration for a long time. High-level meetings are held regularly and bring concrete results.

"Belarus is becoming closer to us - new projects based on industrial cooperation and social and cultural initiatives are emerging. For example, we are opening a tourist destination. One of the industry projects is the Bashkir-Belarusian Longevity Program. Under it, elderly people can make tourist trips around Belarus. About 3.5 thousand residents took advantage of this opportunity, and funds have been allocated for 2025 to cover another 1.5 thousand people,” the Head of Bashkiria noted.

One important aspect of cooperation was working with young people. The Head of Bashkiria said the region plans to organize school trips to Belarus.

Another area of ​​humanitarian cooperation discussed during the working meeting was participation in events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The parties paid special attention to economic ties. In recent years, Bashkortostan has opened its market to Belarusian products. More than 80 stores are already operating in the republic, selling goods from Belarus, from food to light industry goods.

The parties also discussed the prospects for further development of cooperation and expressed confidence that work in this direction will continue.
