Head of Bashkortostan arrived on Official Visit to Belarus

The delegation of Bashkortostan, headed by the head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov, arrived on an official visit to Belarus on February 6. According to the press service of the head of the region, the purpose of the visit is to develop cooperation between the authorities and businesses of Bashkortostan and Belarus in various sectors of the economy, as well as expand industrial cooperation and cultural, humanitarian, and tourist exchange.

“Belarus is our main foreign economic partner. We have developed the best relations with the republic — its president, Alexander Lukashenko, the management team, and residents. We achieve a lot together. This is mutual trade and deep cooperation ties that give us severe competencies in industry and agriculture,” Radiy Khabirov said in an interview with journalists.

According to him, the effectiveness of foreign economic activity is determined, among other things, by the regularity of contacts, which is why the Bashkortostan delegation came to Belarus once again.

"We have a busy schedule for the visit. We plan to meet with the country's leadership and see several new industries with which we intend to cooperate. Of course, we will also discuss humanitarian projects. For example, next summer we want to start bringing our schoolchildren here. All this is systemic work that needs to be carried out systematically," the head of the region said.
