Agricultural production exceeded 250 billion rubles in 2024 in Bashkiria
The regional Ministry of Agriculture's press service reported that Bashkiria's gross output of farm products in 2024 was 251.7 billion rubles.
The agricultural production index last year reached 100.8%.
“We see a significant increase in production in the commodity sector. Agricultural enterprises of the republic produced products worth 111 billion rubles last year, and the index grew to almost 107%; in farms, the figures were 33.3 billion rubles and 105%. At the same time, production in private households of citizens is falling. This was expected and has already become a trend in recent years,” commented Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkiria Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.
Ilshat Fazrakhmanov believes that the commodity sector's share of the republic's agro-industrial complex has reached 60% and will continue to grow. He also noted that crop production showed the greatest growth in the agricultural sector in 2024 — 103.7%.
