Bashkiria allocated 644.5 million rubles to improve environment

The budget of Bashkiria for 2025 includes 644.5 million rubles for enhancing the environment. The Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria reported this on his social media. January 26 is World Environmental Education Day.

Andrey Nazarov recalled that last year, the region completed the liquidation of landfills and built and repaired capital water management facilities.

“Additional funds were allocated to develop the design and estimate documentation for the reclamation of unauthorized landfills. We expect this will allow us to further attract federal funds within the framework of the federal project “General Cleaning,” we expect that they will arrive this year. In addition, in 2025, an additional 50 million rubles will be allocated for subsidies to reimburse part of the costs of purchasing special equipment for transporting solid municipal waste,” the Prime Minister said.

Since this year, the national project "Ecology" has been replaced by the federal program "Ecological Well-being."

"We will apply for federal funds under it, and receipt is expected to start next year. There are many problems and tasks; we will gradually solve them," the head of the Cabinet noted, especially thanking activists and volunteers.

It is planned to allocate 823.4 million rubles to solve environmental problems in 2026.
