Bashkiria Ministry of Health reported on new national project goals

The Bashkiria Ministry of Health explained that in the new year, the country will launch a new national project, "Long and Active Life." Work will continue within the national project "Healthcare" framework, emphasizing the main goal of increasing life expectancy.

Particular attention will be paid to developing medical care in small towns and rural areas. This year, the republic plans to overhaul nine medical institutions in settlements with a population of up to 100,000 people.

In total, 140 primary healthcare facilities will be updated.

Over the year, more than 4.6 thousand units of medical equipment will be purchased for primary care organizations, as well as 99 cars, which will allow serving residents of the most remote villages.

The protection of motherhood and childhood remains crucial. The republic's perinatal centers and maternity hospitals will remain equipped with modern equipment. New women's consultations are being created in rural areas and small towns. The medical rehabilitation service is being developed and planned to re-equip rehabilitation departments with modern equipment.

The national project combines 12 areas. These include fighting diabetes, cardiovascular, and oncological diseases, expanding therapy coverage for patients with hepatitis C, developing emergency care, and other areas of the healthcare system.
