Radiy Khabirov took part in Regional Development Commission meeting

On December 26, Radiy Khabirov, the Head of Bashkortostan, participated via video link in the work of the presidium of the government commission on Regional Development, which was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin. The agenda included preliminary results of implementing national and federal projects in 2024 and press service reports from the Head of the Republic.

“Despite all the difficulties, the construction industry is finishing 2024 well. The volume of work in construction has increased by more than 32 since 2019. We are completing work on the national projects “Housing and Urban Environment” and “Safe High-Quality Roads” with high indicators. Based on the year's results, we already see that at least 105 million square meters of housing will be commissioned, and about 139 million square meters of asphalt concrete will be laid. During the year, the headquarters paid special attention to implementing federal and national projects and programs by regions, infrastructure projects through infrastructure budget and special treasury loans, funds from the National Welfare Fund, and housing and communal services and road activities. I want to note the work of each region. Each contributed to the common cause,” said Marat Khusnullin.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that major road facilities were opened in the country in 2024. These include the Eastern exit from Ufa and a 65-kilometer section of the federal highway M-12 "Vostok," which runs through the territory of Bashkortostan. Let us recall that the section's opening took place with the participation of the country's President Vladimir Putin.

In his report, the country's Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, Irek Faizullin, noted the fruitful work during the entire implementation period of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment." The construction industry is quickly adapting to the new tasks of the future national project "Infrastructure for Life" and completing current programs.

The meeting also discussed work in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions. In 2024, 3.7 thousand objects were restored in the new areas of the country.

Marat Khusnullin thanked the members of the headquarters, the State Duma, the Federation Council, the presidential administration, the government apparatus, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Transport, other relevant departments and regional leaders for their fruitful work.

Bashkortostan actively implements national projects initiated by the country's president. In 2024, within the framework of the regional project "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment," 123 public areas in 67 municipalities of the republic were improved. Under the "Clean Water" project, the construction of water supply facilities in six municipalities is being completed in the region. Within the framework of the national project "Safe High-Quality Roads," this year, 1,300 km of road surface were brought into compliance, and 56 km of roads were built and reconstructed. Significant events of the year in this area are the commissioning of the Eastern exit, the reconstruction of the Birsk-Tastuba-Satka highway, the launch of a section of the M-7 Volga highway, which was included in the route of the federal high-speed highway M-12 Vostok. In Bashkortostan in January-November 2024, 2,813.5 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned, 100.8 percent of the corresponding period in 2023.
