The main celebrations to mark the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory are planned for May 9, 2025. According to the press service of the Head of Bashkiria, they will start with the laying of flowers at the monument to the Hero of Russia, Major General Minigali Shaimuratov, on Sovetskaya Square and the Eternal Flame in the memorial complex of Victory Park. Veterans, pupils of military-patriotic clubs, volunteers and activists of patriotic organizations, and SMO participants will participate in the ceremonies.
The central event of Victory Day in Ufa will be a parade of military personnel and equipment on Oktyabrya Avenue. The parade will be attended by units of military personnel from the Ufa territorial garrison, veterans of military operations, cadets, and cadets from educational institutions.
It is also planned to hold the "Immortal Regiment" campaign and a ceremonial meeting dedicated to this memorable date.
Events will also be held in the framework of memorable dates and important events of the Great Patriotic War. These are January 27, Leningrad Siege Lifting Day; February 23, Defender of the Fatherland Day; and June 22, Remembrance and Sorrow Day.
"In June 2025, the republic will join the country's Ministry of Defense project, and Army Culture Days will be held in all municipalities. In the anniversary year, we will also open a museum of returned names and create a museum quarter in the historical center. In October 2025, the film "Farzana Goes West" by director Bulat Yusupov will be released, which is being created at the expense of the Grant Fund of the Head of Bashkortostan, - explained the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ural Kilsenbaev. Information about the anniversary events was announced on December 25 at a meeting of the republican organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It was chaired by the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov. Members of the republican government attended it as heads of relevant ministries and departments, representatives of public organizations, and veterans of military operations.
“The 80th anniversary of the Great Victory is a special event for the country and our allies. Its significance as a symbol of the feat of the Soviet people is difficult to overestimate today. This date calls on us to look up to the front-line heroes and home-front workers and try to be worthy of them in today's trials. We must fill the celebration of this date with special content and historical and modern meanings and put them into all events. We must think through the content thoroughly. We need to start preparing now,” Radiy Khabirov noted.
The head of the region emphasized that the cities and districts of the republic must develop appropriate municipal plans.
