The head of Bashkortostan named the two most important events in 2024: the forum "Russia—a sports power" and the 450th anniversary of Ufa. Radiy Khabirov said this live on the TV show "Territory of Women's Happiness" on the BST channel.

"We have long been preparing for the "Russia - a sports power" forum. Our president visited, and we showed that the republic is one of the sports flagships of the Russian Federation. Whenever the President comes, we can discuss issues and ask for project support. During the discussion, we asked for an indoor athletics arena - a severely large facility, even more expensive than the Wrestling Palace, a Tennis Academy, and a Boxing Progress Center. The President gave such instructions, and now we are working with the government.

And, of course, the second is the 450th anniversary of the city of Ufa. This is the end of a great job. We have neatly combed Ufa. Many things have been made quite comfortable,” the Head of the Republic noted.
