Budget will allocate 28.8 trillion rubles to support families with children in 2025

Next year, the federal budget will spend about 3.2 trillion rubles on supporting families with children. Ninety percent of this will be implemented through the national project "Family."

Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Pavel Kadochnikov spoke about this at the Council for the Development of Social Innovations of the Subjects of the Russian Federation under the Federation Council.

According to him, almost 20 trillion rubles will be allocated to support families with children by 2030. Over these six years, the Deputy Minister of Finance said, the authorities will have to learn to combine demographic policy goals with national projects.

"We have a deficit labor market. How do our demographic priorities relate to the goals of an effective labor market? So that women can also enter it. How can we combine the goals of increasing the birth rate and the goals of human development and education? These are issues that need to be worked out in detail and implemented within the framework of national projects," the Deputy Minister of Finance commented. Starting in 2025, new national projects aimed at improving the demographic situation, including support for families with children, will come into effect in Russia: “Family,” “Youth and Children,” “Long and Active Life,” and “New Health-Saving Technologies.”

Over the past 10 years, the number of large families in Bashkiria has increased by 27.4% to 59 thousand. In terms of their number, the republic is first in the Volga Federal District and seventh in Russia. The birth rate is now 8.9 per thousand population, higher than the national average (8.7) and the district average (8.2).
