On December 10, in the House of the Republic, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, met with the Chairman of the Board of the All-Russian Public and State Movement of Children and Youth "Movement of the First" Hero of Russia, Artur Orlov. The agenda included trends in the region's youth policy development and the reports of the Head of the Republic's press service.
Radiy Khabirov emphasized the importance of working with the younger generation and noted that Bashkortostan is the leader in the Volga Federal District in terms of the number of both working youth and students - almost 90 thousand children in the republic study in higher education institutions.
‘We also interact with those guys who study at universities in Moscow and St. Petersburg. We try to ensure that they do not lose touch with the republic and consider the possibility of employment here, in their small homeland, ’ the Head of the region said.
The republic closely interacts with the "Movement of the First." Bashkortostan is leading the movement's grant competition. Thus, in 2024, 32 organizations became winners, receiving 62.4 thousand rubles.
Artur Orlov, in turn, thanked the head of the region for supporting the "Movement of the First" and proposed holding a rally of participants in the all-Russian project "Keepers of History" in Bashkortostan. Its goal is to foster patriotism, preserve historical memory, and develop leadership qualities in young people.
"We are planning to hold a rally with 800 people from all regions of Russia participating. I am confident that together with your team, we will be able to make this event significant for the entire country," said Artur Orlov.
Radiy Khabirov supported the initiative to hold a rally, the key event of the "Keepers of History" project.
"We will draw up a plan and discuss it with the organizers. We have excellent sites that can be used for such large-scale events," said the Head of Bashkortostan. The All-Russian project "Keepers of History" allows participants to deepen their knowledge of their native land, take part in improving memorial sites, and demonstrate organizational and creative skills. The project includes a rich educational program, practical work, and expert discussions, making it a unique platform for youth development.
