State Duma has imposed fines for data leaks of up to 15 million rubles
Companies will pay huge fines for leaking customer data, and criminal liability will be imposed for collecting and transferring data. On November 26, the State Duma adopted a corresponding bill. It even provides a fine for refusing a government service without biometrics: disqualification for 6 months for the employee who refused or a fine of 25 thousand rubles.
As reported by Bashinform, the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation is preparing about 30 measures to combat telephone fraud. First, this is using self-prohibition on loans and temporary freezing when changing a number.
