80 meetings took place during the first hour of the Business Contacts Exchange within the framework of the Russia-Kazakhstan Forum. As reported by the organizing committee, the platform will work for two days, during which at least 1,200 negotiations will occur.
By the beginning of the forum, 306 companies had registered for B2B negotiations, 128 of which were from Kazakhstan. Companies from various industries are represented at the Exchange—from the agro-industrial complex and industry to creative industries (a company from Kazakhstan that produces things for the home and interior came to the negotiations).
"The participants are divided into three streams since there are a lot of interested parties. Speakers of the panel sections will come to the negotiations later. Now, here are representatives of business circles who are free from events. There are 40 tables in the business negotiations area," said Tatyana Izotova, director of the Bashkiria Export Support Center.
She explained that the participants have the opportunity to conclude agreements on the sidelines of the forum. Draft agreements approved by the Russian and Kazakh sides have been prepared. There is a separate area for signing.
