YIEF in Ufa will discuss industrial parks development in Russia

The development of industrial parks in Russia will be discussed in Ufa. This is one of the topics planned for the Yalta International Economic Forum, which will be held in Ufa on December 5 as part of the International Business Week.

As reported by the government of Bashkortostan's press service, an expert platform is being prepared within the forum. The National Association of Investment and Development Agencies and the Association of Industrial Parks of Russia will participate. The topic of the meeting is "Industrial Parks: Modern Development Trends and Government Support Measures."

"Bashkortostan has become one of the clear leaders and ranks third among all regions of Russia regarding the number of industrial parks. Almost all types of industrial infrastructure are represented in the republic - private and state industrial parks, technology parks, clusters, SEZs, and management companies that have been successfully operating for over 10 years. Therefore, the industrial park theme will take a key place in the program of the Yalta Forum, which will be held in Ufa,” noted the executive director of the Association of Industrial Parks of Russia, Denis Zhuravsky.

Representatives of the regional Development Corporation, which manages economic zones such as the Ufimsky Industrial Park and the Alga SEZ, will discuss their experience attracting investments and managing territories with a preferential regime in Bashkortostan.

 Another of the main topics of the Yalta Forum in Ufa is overcoming sanctions.

YIEF-2024 is an international business event in the economic sphere held since 2015 in Crimea. The event is one of the four largest economic forums in Russia. The first forum, held nine years ago, was attended by more than 600 people from 13 countries: Russia, Italy, Slovenia, Turkey, Hong Kong, Japan, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Greece, Kazakhstan, Israel, India, and Serbia. In subsequent years, the event developed dynamically, responding to the challenges of the time. At the YIEF held in 2019, participants exceeded 4.5 thousand people from 89 countries. As a result of the forum, more than 102 agreements were concluded for 215 billion rubles, creating 1,700 jobs.
