Vladimir Putin awarded Radiy Khabirov

The well-deserved award was presented to the Head of the Republic in the Kremlin by Sergey Kiriyenko, the First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of Russia. Experts emphasize that in doing so, the federal center has recognized the important contribution of Radiy Khabirov to protecting the country's interests.

"First of all, the award recognizes the major role of Radiy Khabirov in the events that took place in Novorossiya, starting in 2014. Because of both the "Crimean Spring" and the opportunity for the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics to form, remain, and survive - Radiy Faritovich deserves excellent credit. He was a direct participant in all these events, helping people who chose to preserve their identity and the memory of their ancestors and defend their positions, independence, and friendship with Russia. Of course, these events are still little known and little studied. Nevertheless, his role in them is very high.

When the special military operation began, the Republic of Bashkortostan was the leader among Russian regions in providing humanitarian aid and forming volunteer units. We have shown a very positive example for all of Russia. United in a single line, we defend national interests and support those on the front lines, fighting for our country.

It is important to note that Radiy Khabirov came to the republic in 2018, when many processes here, in fact, stopped. There was a huge problem with attracting investment, and the construction complex slowed down. Many economic and social indicators sagged. It wasn't easy to launch this vast machine, to give it a positive impetus and reasonable development rates. A lot has been done in five years. And people's attitudes towards what is happening have changed. Many people have come to believe that the republic can be, as before, the driving force behind the development of the entire Russian Federation and that it can take a leading position. This, of course, is quite difficult to do because a certain period has been lost.

Nevertheless, the work is underway, and the dynamics are visible, which are assessed not only by the federal center but also by the citizens of the republic. Therefore, it is no coincidence that in the September elections of the Head of Bashkortostan, there was such high support for Radiy Khabirov.

All this is now duly appreciated. And this high award is rightfully deserved," says Vladimir Savichev, Director of the Institute of Strategic Studies of the Republic of Bashkortostan, PhD in Political Science, political scientist.

The Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" is awarded to citizens for particularly outstanding services related to the strengthening of Russian statehood, the socio-economic development of the country, scientific research activities, the development of culture and art, exceptional sporting achievements, strengthening peace, friendship, and cooperation between peoples, for a significant contribution to enhancing the country's defense capability.
