The Russian government has set a quota for issuing 5,500 temporary residence permits in Russia to foreign citizens and stateless persons by 2025. A reserve quota of 1,650 permits has also been set. The corresponding order of October 14 was published on the official portal of legal information of the Russian Federation.
The document includes a distribution of the quota by the country's subjects. Moscow was allocated the largest number of permits (1,000 permits), while Bashkiria was given a quota of 100 permits.
Earlier, Bashinform reported that Russia would increase its liability for organizing illegal migration.
