Head of Bashkortostan met with student activists

On September 19, in Ufa, at the Interuniversity Student Campus of the world-class Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, met with student activists of the republic's universities - representatives of trade unions, leaders of student councils and dormitories, heads of sports, cultural and volunteer clubs.

Recall that in May 2024, on the instructions of the head of the region, the Republican Council of Students was created in Bashkortostan, which included leaders of student self-government. Its task is implementing the state youth policy at the level of study groups, courses, and faculties in key areas - creativity, sports, volunteering, media, grants, business, and science.

In his opening remarks, Radiy Khabirov emphasized that in recent years, republican universities have received an additional impetus for high-quality development.

“We deliberately invited you to the Interuniversity Student Campus. We wanted you to see where science and higher education are heading in the republic. In December, we will complete work in another block of the campus, where the genomic center and Sber’s educational project “School 21” will be located, providing an opportunity to acquire additional skills in the field of information technology. The plans for 2025 include completing the construction of the second stage of the campus with an area of ​​120 thousand square meters, which will also include a dormitory for students and postgraduates for 4.5 thousand places,” said Radiy Khabirov.

The head of the region also noted that Bashkortostan will participate extensively in the new federal program to repair dormitories.

The head of Bashkortostan highly appreciated the results of Bashkir universities' participation in the national project “Science and Universities,” which provides new opportunities for students to self-realize.
