Armed Forces has increased in Russia

By decree of President Vladimir Putin, the authorized number of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has been increased. Now it is 2 million 389 thousand 130 people. Of these, 1.5 million people are military personnel.

The authorized number of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was increased in December 2023. Last year, it amounted to 2,209,130 people, including 1,320,000 military personnel.
