Jubilee medal has been established for 80th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War
Vladimir Putin has established a jubilee medal, "80 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945". The corresponding decree was published on the official legal information portal.
The document approves the medal regulations, description, and drawing. The government has been instructed to provide funding for producing medal cases and certificate forms.
The jubilee medal will be awarded to veterans of the Great Patriotic War—military personnel and mercenaries, home front workers, former underage prisoners of concentration camps and ghettos, and citizens of foreign countries who fought in military formations of the Armed Forces of the USSR.
