Over the past four years, the Alga Special Economic Zone has become a successful platform and recognizable republic brand. According to the results of the National Rating of Investment Attractiveness of Special Economic Zones, Alga was twice recognized as the most dynamically developing zone in the country. Last year's results showed that it won the Import Substitution nomination. This was announced today, August 24, by the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov at an off-site meeting of the Supervisory Board in Ishimbay.
"We currently have 22 residents in Alga. Five have launched their production, and four more are in construction. Investors have already invested 7.5 billion rubles and created 950 jobs.
Unfortunately, as is the case with many now, financing individual investment and infrastructure projects is difficult. Because of this, deadlines are being shifted. Let's hope these are temporary difficulties, and we will find optimal solutions.
Last year, we expanded Alga's territory at the expense of the sites of the Ufimsky industrial park, which are already almost complete.
We are preparing to include new land plots in the Ufimsky district with a total area of 106 hectares in Alga. The corresponding application was sent to the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia on July 31,” noted Radiy Khabirov.
