On August 23, at the inter-university student campus of the Eurasian REC, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov took part in the strategic session "Modern technologies in the humanitarian sphere." The head of the region said that the republic won the status of REC in a competitive struggle; this year, it has turned five years old and has already achieved certain things. According to Radiy Khabirov, initially, special attention was paid to issues related to the country's technological sovereignty. The head of the region noted that humanitarian research and humanities are also significant areas for the republic's authorities.
Radiy Khabirov also spoke about the construction of the inter-university student campus.
"In December, we must commission the genomic center, which will specialize in digital technologies in genetics. The project will include Sber School 21. We still have to build seven campus towers, with 4,300 places for students. According to estimates, the deficit of places in Ufa student dormitories is about 6,000 places. After commissioning the second stage of the campus, we will solve a significant part of this problem. The campus should also become an educational center. We plan to launch the second stage in 2026," said the head of the republic.
The head of the region said that our leading universities have become participants in the Priority - 2030 program.
"We see the desire of our technical areas to actively develop and support them with funds from the republic's budget. We are ready to place an order for our humanities and receive proposals from you or consider your proposed projects and allocate money," said the Head of Bashkortostan.
One of the main priorities and task number one for scientists of the republic working in the humanitarian sphere, Radiy Khabirov, called projects aimed at preserving the main wealth of our country - multinational and multi-confessional unity and harmony. The Eurasian NEC includes six universities of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, three research institutions, and 20 organizations of the real sector of the economy. Following the Eurasian NEC's program of activities, 10 technology projects have been identified in the areas of "New Living Environment," "Digital and Green Chemistry, Energy," "Biomedicine and Genetics," and "Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies."
