Vladimir Yakushev praised gasification pace in Bashkiria

Acting Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia party, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Urals Federal District Vladimir Yakushev, who is today on a working visit to Bashkiria, praised the pace of gasification in the republic.

"People are actively applying for gasification. This is fundamentally important because it is not only necessary to bring the main line to the settlement, but it is also essential that people ultimately connect and start consuming gas. This is important for Gazprom, as a supplier of blue fuel, and for people. Unfortunately, earlier, when this program was not yet working as actively as per the instructions of the President of 2021, we had such settlements. There is a mainline there, and there is even a village wiring, but as far as connecting the households themselves is concerned, this story could hang for years. Now, thank God, there are no such issues. What we see today in Bashkortostan is happening thanks to the synchronized work of the government and Gazprom. And just when the main line is being laid, the village distribution and the direct connection of households are very important. Here, these processes are almost all synchronized. I think that soon, Bashkortostan will be a region with 100% gasification. This is an outstanding achievement and convenience for people. But I will repeat that the program is complicated because it is necessary to issue many documents for land plots. Gazprom's primary condition was registering for households and land plots. And, of course, the region and local authorities worked very actively here. Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank the head of the republic for this enormous work, which he directly supervises here in the region and does a lot to ensure that this program is actively moving forward. Well, I also thank my colleagues from Gazprom.

And as for the country as a whole, we have crossed a severe threshold. More than a million households have received gas from their land plots. Now, it is very important to do the additional gasification, as we call it. And 616 thousand have already connected gas. Therefore, we will carry out this work to the end and work to ensure that all together - regional authorities, local authorities, Gazprom, United Russia, bring this program to its logical conclusion," Vladimir Yakushev noted.
