Igor Komarov assessed Bashkiria's preparation for Head of region elections

The Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal District, Igor Komarov, gave a positive assessment of the republic's preparation for the elections of the Head of the region and other election campaigns, which will be held on September 6, 7, and 8.

"We see that traditionally, great attention is paid in the Republic of Bashkortostan to the electoral processes of preparing for the elections. All the election commissions and all those involved in the preparation and security of elections work to ensure they are held legitimately and transparently. Most importantly, all voting opportunities are provided in a convenient way for voters. We see that the interaction of all participants is good, the situation is calm, stable, and there is reason to believe that all measures are being taken to hold a truly legitimate, safe, transparent election in the region," said Igor Komarov, answering journalists' questions after a meeting dedicated to the socio-political situation in Bashkortostan.
