Bashkiria has been included in the list of Russian regions where you can electronically apply to choose a convenient polling station. The Mobile Voter service is available on the government services portal, the Ministry of Digital Development of Public Administration of the Republic of Bashkiria reported.
Republic residents can use the service with an active voting right and a verified account on the government services portal.
“The service allows the voter not to be tied to their residence and to vote where it is convenient. For example, suppose a person is registered in the district but lives in Ufa. In that case, it is convenient for them to choose the polling station closest to them on the portal and participate in the elections,” explained Dinar Sharafutdinov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development of Public Administration of Bashkiria. “The portal will offer to check your data and enter the address of your location on voting day.” You can apply to Gosuslugi no later than three days before the election day, before 23:59 on September 2, 2024, Moscow time.
