Russian Central Election Commission predicted turnout in Head of Bashkortostan elections
Member of the Central Electoral Commission of Russia Yevgeny Shevchenko announced the forecast for the turnout on the single voting day, which will be held in Bashkortostan on September 6, 7, and 8.
"In the region, we always note a high turnout, and according to the presented social surveys, from 68% to 75% of voters plan to participate in the elections," he said.
Let us recall that on a single voting day, the republic will hold elections for the Head of Bashkortostan, a deputy of the State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan for the Ufa single-mandate constituency No. 54, and over 200 election campaigns for local government bodies.
The official list of candidates for the region head position includes Radiy Khabirov, Ivan Sukharev, Vladimir Nagorny, Artur Shainurov, and Ilshat Timeryanov.
