Bashkiria to conclude interparliamentary agreement with Adygea

An interparliamentary agreement will be concluded between Bashkiria and Adygea. The resolution of the State Assembly approved the document's text, the press service of the republican parliament reports.

The agreement on interparliamentary cooperation between the State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the State Council of the Republic of Adygea provides for the exchange of bills, analytical and methodological materials, joint conferences and consultations, joint commissions and working groups, and assistance in establishing and developing business contacts between the two republics.

According to Konstantin Tolkachev, Chairman of the State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the republic is actively developing interparliamentary cooperation with Russian regions. Partnerships have already been established with 27 legislative bodies, including the parliaments of new regions—the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics. The parliament speaker noted that interaction at the parliamentary level strengthens interregional ties in other areas, including economics and culture, and the exchange of experience helps deputies optimize work processes.
