Families with two or more children will receive annual payments
The State Duma adopted a bill on annual payments to working parents with two or more children in the second reading. The payments will be received by families whose average per capita income does not exceed one and a half times the subsistence level.
The payment amount will be calculated so that such parents' resulting personal income tax is 6%.
The payment will affect about 4 million families, raising more than 10 million children.
An amendment was made at the second reading of the bill, according to which, in pursuance of the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, this payment will not be taken into account when determining the right to receive other benefits.
