Vladimir Putin took part in Russia exhibition closing ceremony

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the organizers of the Russia exhibition at VDNKh. The exhibition opened on November 4, 2023, and will close on July 8.

The general director of the exhibition, Natalya Virtuozova, and her employees spoke about their work experience. The President recalled that during the eight months of operation, the exhibition was visited by 18.5 million people (7.5 million of them during the extension period) and more than 120 international delegations.

“We have something to show and something to be proud of. But that’s not all: presenting it beautifully and talentedly is also important. And you succeeded,” said the head of state.

Vladimir Putin recalled that the Russian exhibition experience would be the basis for the national exhibition center and replicated in other regions.

As Bashinform reported, the president ordered the creation of the National Center “Russia” in Moscow by decree. According to the document, the center will be managed by the directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements “Russia.” The Moscow government will provide her with free use of the land plot on which the Expocentre exhibition complex is located.

Regional authorities are instructed to provide the organizing committee of the Russia exhibition forum with a plan for creating branches.

Bashkiria's delegation also took part in the closing ceremony of the exhibition.
