Bashkortostan deputies will consider government bills

The State Duma Council sent several bills submitted by the Russian government for discussion in the regions. Among them are changes to the federal budget, according to which in 2024:

— 66.200 billion rubles will be used to extend the “Family Mortgage” program in constituent entities of the Russian Federation with a low level of housing construction, as well as in small towns;

— 47.823 billion rubles — to extend the state support measure “Payment of 450 thousand rubles for large families on mortgages”;

— 33.164 billion rubles — to increase, from March 1, 2024, the amount of monthly monetary remuneration for classroom management to teaching staff;

— 1,500 billion rubles — to increase the level of remuneration of scientific and pedagogical workers who teach subjects, disciplines (modules) of a fundamental nature, to develop general professional and general cultural competencies;

— 1.132 billion rubles — to introduce a monthly federal payment to advisers to educational directors.

“In addition, families with two or more children (if the average per capita family income does not exceed 1.5 times the subsistence minimum per capita established in the constituent entity of the Russian Federation) will pay 6% personal income tax thanks to a 7% refund. This is about half of the total number of all such families. A bill has also been introduced on indexing pensions for military pensioners by 5.1% from October 1, 2024,” said State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin.

He said consideration of these legislative initiatives in the first reading is scheduled for June 20.
