Bashkortostan representative office will appear in China

A representative office of Bashkortostan may appear in the capital of the northeastern Heilongjiang, Harbin (PRC) province. This was discussed at a meeting of the Bashkortostan delegation with the Vice-Governor of Heilongjiang Province, Zhang Anshun.

“Each province in China is a separate market that needs to be entered consciously. We see the interest of local authorities and businesses in increasing the supply of quality products from Bashkortostan. Having a representative office in Harbin will allow our manufacturers to establish contacts with the local business community and expand the sales market,” says Margarita Bolycheva, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The Chinese side supported the initiative of the Bashkir delegation. After discussing all the details, decisions will be made to begin legal and organizational procedures.

Earlier, the Bashkortostan delegation met with Xu Qin, the first secretary of the party committee of Heilongjiang province. During the meeting, some agreements were reached to take the long-term partnership between Bashkiria and Heilongjiang Province to a qualitatively new stage.
