

The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, met with Zoyir Mirzaev, the khokim of the Tashkent region, and Nuriddin Mamazhanov, the deputy khokim of the Fergana region. The head of the republic also discussed the roadmap for international cooperation with the delegation of Uzbekistan.
“Uzbekistan is a significant strategic partner for us, ranking fifth in terms of the share of foreign trade turnover of our republic. At the same time, we see good potential for further development of relations, which we can successfully implement. I am confident our meeting will primarily contribute to forming deep industrial cooperation. At the same time, it is also important to discuss the areas of cultural, humanitarian and tourist exchange,” the press service of the Head of the Republic quotes Khabirov.
Khokim of the Tashkent region, Zoyir Mirzaev, called the primary goal of the visit to establish relations in production and business.
He noted, “We are ready to present our capabilities for creating new growth points and to study your region's best practices in various fields.”
Deputy Khokim of the Fergana region, Nuriddin Mamazhanov, noted that a representative delegation will arrive in Ufa next week to discuss substantive areas for further cooperation with Bashkiria.
Also, during the meeting, logistics relations with the regions of Uzbekistan and the prospects for developing industrial cooperation were discussed. We are discussing creating joint technology parks with various specializations in the republic's territory.
“Technology parks are today's drivers of economic development. At the same time, we are ready to consider a wide range of areas of their work. They can be engineering, textile, pharmaceutical, and so on. We have already agreed to work on a road map to develop cooperation. And the current visit will serve as a good impetus for implementing specific projects,” commented Radiy Khabirov.
