Ex-Minister of Tourism Rustem Afzalov headed JSC "Regional Fund"
Former Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of Bashkortostan Rustem Afzalov has been appointed General Director of Regional Fund JSC. Radiy Khabirov announced this on April 26 at a weekly operational meeting.
“His knowledge will be useful there. The Regional Fund needs such good energy to fulfill those tasks in its charter. Therefore, this was the basis for such a movement,” said the Head of Bashkortostan.
Bashinform News Agency reported earlier that Rustem Afzalov was stepping down from his ministerial post, which he had held since April 2022. Following this, Ilnur Taktaev was appointed the new head of the department.
