Radiy Khabirov spoke about preparations for “Russia – a sports power” Forum

Radiy Khabirov told the Bashinform News Agency that the republic is preparing to host the “Russia—a sports power” International Forum.

“You know, there is already a presidential decree on holding this event. We have already formed an organizing committee. The money is included in the Russian budget. We will open our long-awaited sports facilities for this event. We understand that the President will hold a meeting on physical culture and sports as part of this forum. Therefore, it is probably not in vain that they say this forum is the main sporting event. We have discussed the forum program with the Russian Ministry of Sports and made several proposals. We made them a month ago. There are proposals to discuss adaptive sports and the role of non-profit organizations in developing physical culture and sports and introducing people to a healthy lifestyle. There will be several round tables and a plenary session. The forum will also give an impetus to getting our children to come to gyms. We have a very busy schedule. We must complete the Wrestling Palace at the end of August, and the Fencing Palace must be completed by October. The forum itself will take place in October,” said Radiy Khabirov.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the “Russia – a Sports Power” Forum standard was handed over to Bashkiria in Moscow.
