International Sports Forum organizing committee has been established in Bashkiria

The order of the Head of Bashkiria outlines measures for implementing the International Sports Forum "Russia - a Sports Power," which, according to the President of the Russian Federation, should be held in Ufa from September - October 2024.

According to the document, the composition of the organizing committee must be approved on April 15, and an action plan with funding source identification must be completed by April 30.

This year, Ufa celebrates its 450th anniversary. “Ufa is seriously preparing for this. The forum will be a gift for our residents and will serve as an impetus for developing sports and physical culture both in the country and our republic,” noted the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, a sports forum is planned to be held in the new Wrestling Palace.
